121. "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" by Ann Brashares

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (Sisterhood of Traveling Pants, Book 1)I didn't necessarily expect to like The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and there were parts that pleasantly surprised me as a result. I definitely did not expect to shed copious amounts of tears, but did--over two of the four main characters' summers. The stories of the other two, coincidentally or not, dealt primarily with romance and first love in ways I found sometimes vague and often asinine. But the plot lines I found moving were satisfying, sad, and cathartic.
