I didn't necessarily expect to like
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and there were parts that pleasantly surprised me as a result. I definitely did not expect to shed copious amounts of tears, but did--over two of the four main characters' summers. The stories of the other two, coincidentally or not, dealt primarily with romance and first love in ways I found sometimes vague and often asinine. But the plot lines I found moving were satisfying, sad, and cathartic.
